Monteverde Institute
The Monteverde Institute is a regenerative land node founded in 1986 in Monteverde. It integrates academic programs, community initiatives and research to guide tourism sustainably, focusing on biodiversity conservation, education and community resilience. Post-COVID-19 it emphasises restoring employment, food security and forests through fundraising and community engagement.
